DEFINED

תְּהלִּהָ tehillah, means an exuberant song of praise from the root verb, Hallel, meaning praise.

This word (tehillah) is a noun derived from the verb Hallel, which connotes genuine appreciation for the great actions and character of its object.

It is used especially for the adoration and thanksgiving that humanity renders to God in Psalm 34:1

WHY

Hallel is built upon the heart of Christ as expressed in Isaiah 61 and Psalm 34. He longs to bind up our broken hearts, remove our shame, and reclothe us with dignity. The response to those who receive Christ’s care in both chapters is an exuberant, involuntary song of praise—Hallel!
